I wrote – Hanan Khalil: Dr. Sameh El -Hafni, Minister of Civil Aviation, received, at the headquarters of the Ministry’s General Court, Juergen Schultz, the ambassador of the State of Germany in Cairo, and his accompanying delegation, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and advance the prospects for partnership in the field of civil aviation, especially in the areas of infrastructure development of airports and Treinamento e a troca de conhecimentos técnicos entre os dois lados.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Civil Aviation welcomed the German ambassador, stressing the depth of the historical relations that link Egypt and Germany, and the continuous development it witnesses at various levels, and Al -Hefni praised the level of existing cooperation, noting that the ministry is working according to a comprehensive national strategy aimed at developing the sector and raising the efficiency of employment, and improving the level of services provided, in line com as melhores práticas globais.
Al -Hefni also explained that the ministry attaches great importance to expanding partnerships with the private sector, benefiting from the leading international experiences, in the areas of training and qualifying technical cadres, modernizing technological and operational systems in Egyptian airports, noting that the Egyptian state adopts a clear approach to encouraging foreign investment, by creating an attractive climate, and providing promising opportunities in the civil aviation sector.
Por sua parte, o embaixador alemão expressou sua felicidade com esta reunião frutífera, enfatizando que o Egito é um parceiro estratégico para a Alemanha no Oriente Médio e que seu país está procurando melhorar a cooperação conjunta com o governo egípcio, especialmente no campo do transporte aéreo, que está testemunhando um desenvolvimento notável em termos de infraestrutura e serviços operacionais.
Schultz acrescentou que muitas grandes empresas alemãs demonstram grande interesse em expandir o mercado egípcio e contribuir para a implementação de projetos de desenvolvimento aeroportuário, devido às suas experiências e tecnologia avançadas nesse campo e ao promissor ambiente de investimento que o Egito fornece.
No final da reunião, os dois lados concordaram em continuar a coordenação, ativar estruturas de cooperação conjunta, trocar conhecimentos técnicos e aprimorar os esforços de desenvolvimento sustentável no setor de aviação civil egípcia, a fim de estabelecer a posição do Egito como um centro regional líder no campo do transporte aéreo.
