The Governor stressed the need to study the possibility of taking advantage of the available resources in coordination with tourism companies to organize the Nile boats’ anchor during their trips in Assiut, noting the importance of expanding the organization of cultural and artistic festivals and heritage exhibitions with the aim of supporting the tourism movement and attracting more visitors, and also called for developing effective marketing plans to promote the journey of the Holy Family, archaeological sites and tourist and religious attractions in the province, including It contributes to achieving the desired sustainable development, in addition, the governor directed feasibility studies to establish an internal air line linking Cairo and Assiut airports, with the aim of serving citizens and travelers and developing tourism coming to the province, and facilitating travel movement to and from it, explaining that Assiut is full of traditional treasures that require concerted efforts to market them professionally.
Abu Al -Nasser stressed the full readiness of the province to overcome all obstacles facing the tourism sector, and to provide logistical support and full coordination with the relevant ministries to organize integrated tourism programs and trips targeting visitors from inside and outside Egypt, and pointed out the importance of raising the efficiency of services provided in tourist areas, and providing various promotional materials such as evidence, maps, publications and documentary and documentary filmes.
